About the elevating house©.

Weathering the Storm
If you live along the coast or in the mountain valleys, are you really prepared for the next hurricane or floods that come along? Why risk losing everything you’ve spent a lifetime building and saving up for when there’s an option? We’ve got a solution for that.
I know how valuable and important it is to protect your investment, your family, and everything you’ve worked all your life for. I’ve spent most of my life looking for solutions to big problems, such as transportation and safety, among several others. I’ve come up with some logical solutions that have protected thousands of people and reduced many accidents and losses.
If you live along the coast or in these flood zones, you may have already lost your house or have family or friends that have. Why risk doing that when there’s a solution that allows you to live right where you want to live? What I’ve done is designed what I would call our elevating home. It’s a system that’s designed to raise your home and elevate it above the flood surge and storm surge of the floodwaters. The rest of the time, it’s sitting on the ground with all the convenience of living on the ground.
If you are a retired couple, we’re all going to grow old. The up and down steps are just a huge challenge when there’s an option. This allows you to live on the ground like all the other homes. Yet, when a disaster is approaching, you can remotely elevate your home. You don’t have to be home to raise it. As it raises up, you’ll see the skirting and the foundation, depending on what design and how you have your house built. The important part raises up. All of this could be replaced pretty easily, but things in the house that you spend a lifetime in may not be replaced.
The elevating home system© is hidden in the design of the home. From the outside, you can’t tell it’s a house that will elevate. But when the time comes and you need to, you can raise your home above the floodwaters and storm surge. This blue structure is the base, and it’s built in the ground. We cover it with a concrete slab. The red structure is where your house is built on. All these columns have a hydraulic cylinder, and they evenly raise the house so you don’t get any damage when raising it. One of the columns has a sliding electric rail. You will want to raise your house ahead of the storm while there’s still power. Maybe you raise it for another reason. You’re going to be gone a few months, and you just feel better if your house is elevated out of the way of risk of anybody breaking in. There are many reasons to benefit from the elevating home©.
When the storm comes, this concrete slab is dome-shaped. The reason for that is when water comes in and hits a square surface or a wall, it starts to circulate and rotate, causing undercutting in a road slab. So we’ve got what we call a tapered apron all the way around the slab that runs down into the ground, depending on the type of soil you have and how deep it needs to go. If you’re in real sandy, loose ground, you’re going to want to run it down a little more than someone in more stable soil. You’ll see the sewer pipe and the water all disconnect when the house raises up. When the house comes back down, they reconnect.
This is a cutaway view without the slab on it. The skirting and all this that you choose to put around your house are designed the way you want it to look. Part of it is going to stay on the ground. As the house goes up, the power goes off. You want to make sure you’ve got power and water. Many people stay in their houses during storms when the water’s not that deep. That’s okay. This gives you the option of doing that. We’ve got a generator built in the attic, a fresh water tank, and the generator is powered by propane. If you’ve got a gas stove, you’ll be able to cook. We’ve also got a sewer tank capable of handling all the water in the fresh water tank. As it elevates, these all automatically close off. When you lose power, the generator kicks on automatically.
You’ll see in this view the tapered apron of the concrete slab. Again, depending on the kind of soil you’ve got, this needs to run down a certain depth. The other benefit of this concrete slab is when the water passes over it, it creates hydraulic pressure and puts weight on it, holding it in place when the water’s rushing by and the wind’s blowing.
If you think this is something you’d be interested in, I want you to know that it’s a very simple system designed for logical thinking and practical ways. If you live in flood zones, you may not even be able to get insurance. This allows you to protect your investment and all your family belongings and live where you want to live. The design is a 100% constructed home. If you go to the website. It doesn’t matter what shape or size of house you want; this is designed to provide the materials, protection, and benefits of a 100% steel constructed home.

About Jimmy Wink – Market Disruptor & Industry Innovator.
My name is Jimmy Wink, and for over 40 years, I’ve been at the forefront of industry-changing innovations that have disrupted and redefined multiple sectors. My passion lies in solving complex problems by developing stronger, simpler, and more efficient solutions that outperform traditional methods.
My latest venture, Wink Panels, began in 2020 when I was given the task of tackling some of the biggest challenges in the construction industry. Traditional materials like wood, concrete, and 3D-printed structures limit design flexibility, customization, and durability. Many prefabricated solutions require extensive modifications just to achieve a homeowner’s desired look. That wasn’t good enough for me.
I set out to develop a revolutionary construction method—one material, one product, engineered to withstand hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, fires, and insects while providing complete design freedom for both interior and exterior finishes. The result? A high-strength, steel-core wall system that simplifies construction without compromising aesthetics, functionality, or resilience.
This isn’t my first market disruption. My innovations have transformed three other industries, setting new standards in efficiency, safety, and performance. I’ve been called a “Market Disruptor” because I don’t just improve existing methods—I redefine what’s possible.
With Wink Panels, I’m bringing that same game-changing mindset to home construction. My mission is simple: to give homeowners and builders a solution that eliminates compromise—stronger, more sustainable, and fully customizable homes that withstand the test of time.
